I love my students, they are imaginative, expressive and a handful at times. They do not all come from the greatest circumstances, but I try to provide a safe yet comfortable atmosphere for learning. I want them to feel the love I have for them.
My students are used to sitting in desks and rows and even though I have altered my seating arrangements many times, I would like to surprise them with something different this school year.
I want them to be able to feel safe and have a place to call "HOME" even when its not their house.
I love my students and I want to give them the best possible chance to achieve greatness. I designed my classroom to fit our school theme for the year "Creating SUPER learners." As I begin to set my classroom up, i wanted to be a little more modern with furniture. I had the same old desks and chairs, what super hero do you know that has desks and chairs in their super hero cave.
I want my students to buy into the theme that they are SUPER.
In order to do that, they have to feel comfortable, and safe. THe bean bags and bunjo chairs are for a modern comfortable look and feel in our classroom. It will give them a sense of home while in class.
