Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I currently teach at a Title I school. It's a low-income area in town that nobody wants to go to. I absolutely love my school and my students! We are a hidden gem. I can't explain my love for teaching or my students without feeling mushy and giddy. They have had such rough life experiences and I just want to love on them and show them they are worth it! I grew up just like they did and I now have such a strong desire to show them the way!

My Project

I have a class with multiple students with ADHD, ADD, and other special needs. A lot of them struggle staying still and they will just love the opportunity to earn these options! Win win for my students and I! Some day I hope to be able to have an entire class supply of options, but right now I would be very grateful for these.

I am a strong believer in being centered and movement, and these will help to get them moving quickly!
