My Project
As May approaches, so does the annual state learning assessment, a pivotal moment for students statewide. Recognizing the significance of this testing period, our initiative, Test-Time Treats, aims to support students' readiness and focus during this critical time.
Students consistently show that a well-nourished brain performs better, and breakfast is often hailed as the most important meal of the day.
However, during the testing season, ensuring students have access to nutritious snacks is equally vital. Test-Time Treats addresses this need by providing students with snacks designed to fuel their brains and sustain their energy levels throughout the testing sessions.
Our project recognizes the demands placed on students during standardized testing. The state test requires concentration, critical thinking, and endurance - all of which are enhanced by proper nutrition. By offering wholesome snacks, we aim to mitigate hunger, boost cognitive function, and promote overall well-being among students.
Furthermore, Test-Time Treats serves as a reminder of the importance of self-care and prioritizing one's health, especially during high-pressure situations.
