This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am in desperate need of some toys for my terrific group of students! As I've spoken with other educators, and if you're a parent, you know that these are the essential elements of any 5-6-year-old child.

I am a first-time teacher in a classroom that's starting halfway through the school year so it's crunch time to gather all of the materials needed for the students, including toys!

I have included materials such as MagnaTiles, Unifix Cubes, high-stimulation toys, and many others. The students need these to work on their gross motor skills, as well as communication skills when it comes to playing with other students and sharing. They also have a blast when using them; they put nothing but smiles on their faces!
