My Project

Part of the Montessori curriculum includes learning about botany. I want to encourage my students to continue this learning throughout the summer as it is not a topic we can do a whole lot with during the school year. Ending the year with a fun project that they can continue learning from at home will give them the encouragement and materials they need.

Creating a terrarium in the classroom alongside their classmates, that they can then take home with them, will give them a fun memory to close out the school year with and something to look forward to in the summer months as they are away from school.

It's important to give my students the resources they need to keep learning while they are at home. The terrarium kits will be a great way to support them in attaining this throughout the summer.
