This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I coach football for a 5A high school here in Texas. We are in the middle of spring football and need some new training equipment to help our athletes. Right now, I want to be able to limit how many time our receivers drop the pass.

I am requesting a new tennis ball machine to help train our receivers.

Yes, it may sound weird to use a tennis ball machine for a football team. This machine will help train our receivers to better catch the football. I plan to use it to shoot tennis balls at our receivers to help with hand eye coordination. By doing this I have seen success in the past with our players developing better hands. Over time the amount of dropped passes went down significantly. We will also need some tennis balls to go along with the machine. These new tennis balls will come in a nice carrying bag to make it easier to transport and not lose any.
