My Students

Have you ever heard a group of children recite a poem or sing a song together like little birds? Children love poems, songs, and stories!

Our city is full of jobless, hopeless adults and our schools are trying desperately to break that mold with the children we are educating, bringing back hope, readers, and respected contributors to our society.

Each day we echo, "I am ready to focus, I am ready to learn, I am ready to be smart; I will graduate in 2026!"

My Project

My school district is piloting a new reading/writing program to help improve student learning and success in our community.

To make the program work well a document camera would enhance the ability for all of my students to see a book during a read aloud or any item under the camera.

This is a piece of equipment to actively engage ALL students. Visual learners would benefit from seeing a small item in a larger format while tactile learners can move things around under the camera. Paper is saved, science experiments can be done, and the LOVE of reading can be enjoyed by ALL!
