Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are curious, innovative, caring, and fun! There is never a dull day in our school community. My role this year is the international baccalaureate teacher and program coordinator. I work with students and encourage them to use what they have learned in their classes to develop creative, impactful ideas that will help us move forward into a brighter future.

Help me to create more interactive and engaging lessons for my students!

An iPad, Apple Pencil, and microphone will assist me with teaching students and provide them with access to additional technology to conduct research, record videos, and film special events in our school community.

This year, we used one of our iPads for students to film and produce instructional videos for their peers. This not only increased engagement but allowed students to learn from each other. I hope to continue this practice for many years to come!
