My Project

Our goal is to incorporate technology and devices to assist with translation and access to grade level curriculum for new comers and English learners. By providing Program 1 students with iPads, they can use Google Translate for the following:

Student-to-student communication in home language

Student-to-teacher communication in home language

Translate curriculum and texts

Translate class notes

Record and translate lessons

Writing support

Students have had huge success in building their English skills and getting to know their classmates with the use of this cutting edge technology. All students benefit from this great opportunity!
