My students need 3 Chromebooks to use in small group rotations to extend their learning of all subjects through the use of the Seesaw interactive student portfolios.

My Students

My students learn through discovery! They want to explore, touch, investigate, and talk about the things we learn together. Technology helps me reach individual students' needs in my diverse classroom. Our class is full of thinking questions, creative ideas, science, art, math, reading, writing, and character development activities. Technology can be used to extend the learning in all of these areas.

The students have a passion for using technology to empower their learning.

This week I attended professional development on how to incorporate Seesaw digital portfolios and activities for my class. They loved the new challenges and are eager to use this extension of learning in our classroom. We are in need of 3 additional Chromebooks and a charging station.

My Project

Our class of 22 second grade students are eager to think out of their comfort zone and move to where the magic of learning happens. We use small group rotations, blended learning, and interactive student portfolios with Seesaw. We need 3 additional Chromebooks in order to offer this avenue of learning to more students.

Our class mission statement is to learn challenging things with our friends.

Technology is an excellent way to collaborate and share our learning experiences with parents. My students are incredibly adept at using technology (they teach me things all the time!). The 3 new Chromebooks will offer many extra learning choices!
