My Students

I have a large, energetic class of curious students. They question the world around them and have a desire to learn through real-life experiences. In third grade students are faced with new and challenging learning goals and they begin to realize the importance of "doing hard things." My students are working hard to understand the importance of never giving up and making a difference in the world.

My class loves to learn and is intrigued and motivated by new and useful technology.

They find it easy to make connections between the lessons and the world with technology as the key. They are creative and innovative as they write, largely due to the use of technology for research and exposure to new ideas. The students understand the value that technology plays in our world and want to utilize it in their learning.

My Project

During Covid, lack of adequate technology and the inablity to communicate with students via technology has been one of the biggest road blocks to learning. Having headphones with microphone access helps my students to have equal oppurtunities to learn whether learning in person or remote.

If I can communicate more effectively with my students I will be able to help students continue to learn through the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Headphones will be used daily in the classroom to access online content. They will also be used to facilitate our online community both at home and in the classroom.
