My Students

Down on the swamp, my "pelicans" soar to new heights in the library. STEM is an important part of our lessons, but we need the technology to match the brain power of my students. They excel and so should the equipment they use.

My Project

Students will use devices to navigate my library's online catalog, create projects using devices, can access educational sites while checking out books, and learn internet safety. With our current outdated iPads, students are very limited to what they can accomplish with these devices. Apps no longer update, devices are slow, and crash. With elementary students, these issues have become frustrating. New devices will allow me to better help our students lean into a vast and diverse tech world. Science, technology, engineering, art, and math are areas we focus on in library. Updated devices are a must to make this happen.
