I teach Algebra 1, and most of my students are 9th graders. This is a great school and a great school system!

There has been a change in state standards, and technology is required in the classroom. With budget cuts, it is difficult to get available funds to purchase technologies that meet students' needs.

Students need a document camera because it is imperative they understand the steps and logic when solving algebraic equations. A document camera would help meet the state requirements concerning technology and ensure students are “seeing what I see” during instruction.

With your gift, my students will be taught in a classroom more in line with state standards, and I will guarantee it will be used to its greatest potential. You will make it possible for students to have a greater opportunity to understand every step, see every example, and increase their probability of success in Algebra 1.
