This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I'm starting at a new school this year, and I'm being treated to some of the world's best students! Being in a new classroom, many items will be needed. Children in our community are eager to learn every day when they enter the classroom. How wonderful for a teacher to be treated to bright, shiny faces on a daily basis! No matter what level each child is at when they start in August, they will surely have all grown, both intellectually as well as socially.

My Project

Students at our school have been treated to the use of a brand-new room used now as the Technology Lab. There are a number of digital devices for students to use. (There's even an interactive panel, which is awesome!) However, this new Technology Lab does not have a printer. The students are creating their essays, but have no way to print out their work. It would be wonderful to have a wireless printer for the students to use for this purpose. Having an additional ink cartridge (for printing close to 3,000 pages!) will assist in keeping the printer alive and functioning for a number of months!
