With an ever-changing and growing society, it is important that students are learning the skills needed to thrive in life outside the classroom walls. My students are eager to learn and thoroughly enjoy being immersed in hands-on activities.

I desire for all of my 5th grade students to strive to do their best in all they do everyday. It is my hope that my students challenge themselves and strive for independence in their learning, especially as they prepare for middle school. In an ever-changing world, I try to provide my students with the best possible projects/assignments and materials to prepare them for life after the classroom. However, they may not have all the necessary tools to do so. As their teacher, I want to give them the best educational opportunities I can, and that includes integrating technology into the curriculum and into the classroom.
My Project
We need this MacBook Air to enable easy access to the Internet, educational websites, and various applications. Some students don't have technology access at home and often have to wait for scheduled technology time at school. Having this MacBook Air in the classroom would give students immediate access to their work and excite students in their learning. In addition, the completion of this project would allow me to create and provide more engaging lessons and activities for the students to participate in. Students learn best when the have a variety of tools and experiences.
By having this MacBook Air in the classroom, my students will be encouraged to use technology in their everyday lives.
They will have better access to technology that creates meaningful and lasting experiences. In an ever-changing world, students need daily training and experience with technology to be prepared for the real world. This MacBook Air will provide my students the experiences they need to achieve their future goals.
