I absolutely love reading, but didn't always. It took a very special teacher who took the time to really get to know me and match me with books that also matched my interests, etc. and once that happened...I LOVED reading. Now, as a teacher myself I am always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to reach my students and help them love reading too. I love to sit in a quiet space where I can really get into my reading, with a notepad, as well as add numerous tabs sticking out of the top for easy access to look at again.\r\n\r\nEveryday in my classroom is an opportunity to discover a new book and a love for reading. With the new books for our classroom library. Before this donation we had very minimal low interest books. After the donation we have so many good books that the kids are interest in and want to share with friends.\r\n\r\nWe use are classroom library as a place to relax and read for early finishers and as part of our literacy stations.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to see all the new high interest books added to our classroom.
