Technology In The Classroom: Paperless Innovation

Help me give my students iPads so that they will have easy access to intervention programs. This would also give them the opportunity to independently explore e-books that I assign to them online.

My Students

My students are full of life and love to learn. I have loved to be able to get to know them over the last few months. They love hands on learning and exploring and I try to provide them with every opportunity to do so.

My students mean the world to me and I want to give them the best educational foundation so that they will be successful, life long learners.

My Project

iPads for my students would get them excited to learn and encourage them to continue learning with educational apps at home. This technology would be utilized in so many different ways. I would be able to use them for literacy and math intervention programs, where there are specific apps made available only for iPads. I would also be able to use them as part of a literacy center in my classroom where students can independently engage in reading.

A goal I have is to increase the overall time my students are spent actually engaged in reading.

In the early years, the more exposure they have to reading, the better.
