iPads for my students would get them excited to learn and encourage them to continue learning with educational apps at home. This technology would be utilized in so many different ways. I would be able to use them for literacy and math intervention programs, where there are specific apps made available only for iPads. I would also be able to use them as part of a literacy center in my classroom where students can independently engage in reading. A goal I have is to increase the overall time my students are spent actually engaged in reading. In the early years, the more exposure they have to reading, the better.
