My students need a Chromebook to help enhance their ability to learn. Technology is something we use daily, and many of my students lack the skills needed to one day enter the workforce.

My Students
My students love to be creative when given the opportunity. They love math and reading. Math tech allows students to differentiate their learning and challenge themselves.
My students come from all backgrounds, and our school is a life line for some students.
Students in my class are brought together as a family right away, and we all protect and respect each other as family would. I want my students to have the same opportunities as all other students who have more advantages than they do so I provide as much as I can but we really need new technology and supplies.
My Project
This Chromebook will be utilized in almost every subject. We use technology in math, science, writing, reading, and even at recess. I would like to add more technology to our class so that we can have more students learning and utilizing it.
Many of our students do not have this type of technology at home to use so we try to be innovative and let them use it to explore the world.
We have a coding book which we will be trying out this school year to get students into coding, and we hope to get other students into just basic typing skills. We also use Chromebooks for research and to allow some students the option of talk to text instead of physically writing a paper. This has opened up a whole new thinking process for some students which was amazing to be a part of.
