it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello everyone! Let me tell you a little bit about my incredible students, they are very hardworking even through their daily struggles. Many of my students have only been in the country 2-3 years but their desire to learn is undeniable.
For a lot of them, it is difficult to access basic needs or be able to acquire supplies for school.
But even through this when my students arrive in my classroom they are eager and ready to learn. It truly is an honor to see them grow as people and in their education. The excitement they have to learn and their joyful faces are what keeps me going every day.
My Project
My class is in need of three Laptops. We currently only have 6 computers and 37 students. It is very challenging to ensure that all 37 students reach their minutes in Reading, Mathematics, and English Language instruction. These laptops would make all the difference in helping my students reach their minutes and engage in individualized instruction.
Students will be able to use these Laptops during centers where they receive individualized instruction.
In the technology center, students will be able to access educational programs that cater to each child's needs. These programs include I-Ready for both Reading and Mathematics, Imagine Learning for English Language acquisition, and MyOn where students read books that interest them.
