My Project

Our students have moved into the digital age! We listen to books, respond to math problems, and write papers all online now. Computers are an essential tool in the classroom. In a world where technology is becoming more and more vital, it is imperative that our students have access to computers! Chromebooks allow students to extend their learning experiences in all fields of studies. The use of technology in the classroom helps to prepare today's learners to become tomorrow's successful leaders!

My students will use the Chromebook for STEAM projects including coding and research.

They will learn how to code by using Google’s Computer Science Coding Program. Students will display their science content knowledge by creating Stop Motion animation videos. The Chromebook will also be used for various learning centers using Google Classroom, e-books, and an endless number of instructional websites for intervention purposes. This technology will enable me to personalize learning, engage students, and help to improve their overall performance. The Chromebook will allow for the use of technology in a manner which encourages learning in a fun and beneficial manner!
