Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This is an inclusion classroom with whole group and small groups simultaneously running at all times. We are a community of learners who want to excel. Our students are blended into homogeneous and heterogeneous groups to provide the best possible supports for all the children in the classroom.
Our students are awesome!
They are hardworking children from many different backgrounds and cultures. Most of our students speak English as a second language and many translate for their parents. Our school is in a low-socioeconomic neighborhood. We are striving to keep up with other schools with technology as we want to give out students every opportunity to succeed.
My Project
These laptops will be used in Blended Learning. This will allow for teachers to work with small groups as another small group of students is working on challenging and effective teaching programs on the laptops and using laptops for research purposes. Students will be better prepared for the upcoming PARCC test.
Our students will be better prepared for the PARCC test and will be able to compete with children from all sociology-economic backgrounds.
We do not want to leave our students at a disadvantage by not having the technology that more prosperous schools enjoy.
