My students need these Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet, 7” Display, 16 GB to use to complete a class survey on a site like Kahoot to check prior knowledge before we begin a lesson.
My first grade students from Florida are very eager to learn. Many of them don't have opportunities to participate in enriching activities. They are excited about doing projects together especially something to improve their school or community.
Many of them don't have access to educational technology sources outside of the school environment.
They love to use technology at school to complete activities. They are very resourceful on the computers and love to share their new found knowledge with their peers.
They are very creative and enjoy completing a project either individually or in a small group to show what they have learned during their learning experiences.
My Project
The students will use the Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet, 16 GB to complete class surveys or polls so that I can use the info plan lessons.
During lessons they can watch videos or read articles on topic.
They can do screen-casting to share what they have learned with the classmates and me. They can take a picture of a project they have done or an activity and post it to discussion thread to show new knowledge.
They can record a video reflection and use graphic tools to add pictures or diagrams to allow peers and teacher to see what they have learned
