With your help, my students successfully communicate their ideas. From the large crayons that fit perfectly in their small hands, to the markers that have helped them write, and the play dough tools that helps build a vivid imagination while strengthening their fine motor muscles at the same time, my students have been able to flourish within the classroom setting. \r\nMany of my students came in this year with fine motor needs. When a student is unable to grip a pencil or crayon properly, the marks that happen on the paper are usually quite difficult to see and unrecognizable. Additionally, regular size crayons break very easily under the pressure of a Kindergarteners' grip. The large crayons have held under pressure and the markers help make marks seen. This gives students a sense accomplishment. \r\nI have 36 students all together. We have used the materials daily since we received them. With continued strengthening of the fine motor muscles, each student successfully created a birthday card for our principal all by themselves. Copying my model, they each wrote Happy Birthday on the front of the card. On the inside, they drew her pictures. They were also curious about how to spell other things they wanted to say to her, so I modeled how to write their compliments, so they could let her know. She was so surprised to receive all the love on her special day. It make the students feel so special that they could write a birthday card. It is all because of your help.","fullyFundedDate":1754913677173,"projectUrl":"project/fine-motor-creativity/9424950/","projectTitle":"Fine Motor Creativity","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pedraza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10060394"},{"teacherId":8509755,"projectId":9417395,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all of these amazing new math resources. The gift cards used from this projected allowed me to fund extra curricular activities for my students, to keep them engaged in learning through the end of school. Some of the activities I was able to get from TPT was a unit lesson on Solid, liquid, and Gas. We dove into the world of matter and learned what matter was. We had fun experiments to go along with our lessons. One was making Oobleck, where we had to determine if it was a liquid or a solid, then our next experiment was how to make a gas, by using baking soda, vinger, and a balloon. But I think my students favorite experment was when we made rootbeer floats. They were able to take our solid(ice cream) and pour in our liquid ( rootbeer) to make a gas at the top of their floats (the bubbles). They really enjoyed tasting their learnings as well!! \r\nWe also explored apples and used measurement and data to explore them. And used mashmellow peeps to explore our five senses! This Project had a major Impact on Student Learning with Technology in my class. \r\n\r\nThe integration of technology in our classroom has transformed the way students engage with the curriculum. Tools such as interactive whiteboards, tablets, and educational software allow for dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles. Students are now able to collaborate more effectively, access resources instantly, and receive immediate feedback, which is crucial for their learning progression.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of the new technology is the use of gamified learning platforms. Students are particularly drawn to the interactive elements, such as quizzes and challenges that make learning feel like a game. This engagement not only motivates them to participate but also enhances their retention of the material.\r\n\r\n3. Individual Success Stories:\r\nWe've seen remarkable improvements among students who may have struggled in traditional learning environments. For instance, a few of our students with learning disabilities have thrived through personalized learning applications that allow them to progress at their own pace. These tools have built their confidence and encouraged them to participate more actively in class discussions. Additionally, students who were previously disengaged have shown a newfound enthusiasm for learning, as they can explore subjects that interest them through technology.\r\n\r\nOverall, the infusion of technology into our educational practices has not only made learning more enjoyable for our students but has also fostered a culture of curiosity and exploration that empowers them to take charge of their own learning journeys. Thank you for supporting this initiative, as it truly makes a difference in the lives of our students!","fullyFundedDate":1735914691202,"projectUrl":"project/help-equip-our-class-with-headphones-for/8783090/","projectTitle":"Help Equip Our Class with Headphones for a Focused Future!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Damavandi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7377846_orig.jpg?crop=2803,2803,x0,y364&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690497858581","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7377846"},{"teacherId":8503125,"projectId":8726093,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful contributions that provided snacks for my students.
