My 5th grade math and science class is a place where challenge meets inspiration. My students are learning the skills they need to become successful both in and out of the classroom. They are learning how to become more adventurous in their learning through hands on activities.
My students inspire me to be better and do better each day.
I am teaching them how to channel their creativity by finding their niche in math and science class. With discovery and with an open mind, they can achieve anything their heart desires.
My Project
With chrome books in our classroom, we will be able to discover and experience new avenues of learning. We have several computer programs designed to supplement and enhance everyday learning in the classroom, but we need chrome books in order to do so.
Technology advances are ever changing, so it would be extremely beneficial for my students to get to experience chrome books in the classroom on an everyday basis.
At our school, we share 30 Chromebooks among 150 students, so having technology everyday would be a game changer to my 50 students. With Chromebooks, I will be able to incorporate technology every day in my classroom.
I also need a color printer to help bring my consumables to life and create a more engaging activity for my students. We currently only have access to a black and white printer, so it leaves my copies looking bland and boring. A color printer would be a wonderful tool to use in my classroom.
