Technology for Digital Art Afterschool Program With SWD.
Help me give my students an afterschool art program centered on technology. Having two iPads designated to our afterschool program, the teacher can lead explorations of various programs including iStopMotion and iMovie.

My Project
There are a number of projects that I can and plan to do with these iPads, clay, figures, and green screen. During after-school art, I would like the students to create stop motion films using clay and an original story they create. There are a number of great apps to help the students with making stop motion animation. In addition, students can explore iPad-based apps like iMovie and GarageBand (they can create music to add as the soundtrack to their videos). This project will be allowing the students to tell their stories or express their creativity, while empowering the student through art.
Art is a universal language that bypasses normal language skills to allow communication from all students.
By using the technology to create stop motion movie animation, students of all backgrounds, learning styles, abilities and native languages will be able to tell the world their story and be understood. Please help give the students the tools and technology to communicate more effectively through art.
