Your generosity has made an incredible difference in the lives of my students and in my journey as a first-year teacher. When I started this school year, I was stepping into my very first classroom with a heart full of passion but very limited resources. Because of you, my 6th grade students in a 6:1:1 setting now have access to meaningful, hands on materials that support their learning, independence, and social-emotional growth every single day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were eager to explore, sort, build, and collaborate with one another. These resources have helped my students practice essential skills such as communication, emotional regulation, problem solving, and focus all while feeling successful and proud of their work. I've already seen increased engagement during lessons and more confidence as students complete activities independently and with peers.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue to use these materials during small groups, centers, and social emotional learning lessons to strengthen both academic and life skills. Your support has given my students more than just supplies it has given them opportunities to grow, feel included, and enjoy learning in a meaningful way. Thank you for being part of our classroom story and for believing in my students and their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1764643422997,"projectUrl":"project/building-our-first-classroom-together/9680639/","projectTitle":"Building Our First Classroom Together!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cindy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10241010_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757291340774","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10241010"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_130796","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":14,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":84.4,"schoolId":130796,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about 277Q The Riverview School @ 419 on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"277Q The Riverview School @ 419","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/277q-the-riverview-school-419/130796"}
