My Students
My students are inquirers of the world around them! Being in 2nd grade they are beginning to ask questions and communicate as they would in the real world. They have no fear of learning something new and love to showcase what they know!
I have high expectations for my students and I am charged with equipping them with the most effective tools and resources to meet those expectations.
Keeping students engaged can be a challenge when they are already exposed to diverse forms of technology at home so why not capture their attention the same way in the classroom? I'm not one to fix it if it isn't broken. I prefer to find a way to make it work for my goal. Preparing my students for a lifetime of success!
My Project
My students need keyboards and mice to better interact with technology in the classroom. They will use these to work with apple products which they have had limited access to in school and may have no access to at home. We will be creating more in depth designs of our various works using these accessories with our new mac! My students will also have more options in designing their digital portfolios to represent their unique individuality!
This will help them be more versed in different forms of technology whether they are using technology for data or graphic design.
