My Students

I have a group of students who have a wide range of abilities. We have a fifth/sixth split classroom with a number of students who have special needs. We have been able to use a one-on-one set of computers for blended learning. Donna J. Abernathy is quoted as saying, "online learning is not the next big, it is the now big thing." I am excited to have this amazing technology and look forward to being able to learn how to use it to benefit my students now and in the future.

My Project

This class will enable me to give amazing instruction to my students. I am anxious to learn to make the most of the amazing technology that I have been given in my classroom. My students will benefit from the most up-to-date instruction using technology and new national programs.

The donation of this writing resource would not only help me improve student writing this year but years into the future.

I am anxious to participate in a national writing course using technology to bring the most excellent instruction to my classroom in Utah.

The opportunity to learn the information in this course is something that I hope to be able to bring home to share with my colleagues. Many teachers are eager to improve instruction and I hope to "share the wealth" of this exciting opportunity.
