This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are missing the finishing touches! Help us complete our story. We are missing key components in technology! We've incorporated technology but what's next? Our kids are not able to display the amazing work they've created using technology. It just stays trapped on the computer.

Our school is located in Metro Atlanta Our school is 62% free and reduced price lunch but my students don't allow those factors to stop their passion for learning.

My students are very creative, dedicated and have a passion for learning. Sometimes we have limited resources but we want to give our students the same opportunities as other schools.

My Project

My students have created countless technology products such as brochures, advertisements, and newsletters. However, due to budget restraints, no one is able to see their vibrant and amazing student work. Having a color printer will allow others to see the work they have accomplished We can't afford an interactive board but the wireless tablet will allow students to turn our standard projector into an actual interactive space so students can write on the tablet, click on certain websites and much more. We can pretty much create our own board with this one tablet. My students need a Wireless Graphics Tablet and a color printer with toner for their technology tasks.

This project would mean the world to my students.

We could pretend like we have an interactive board like the other science and math classes. Plus everyone would get a chance to see their amazing work. It would also change the school climate by making everyone aware of my students' hard work.
