Technology and Beyond!

My students need Google Chromebooks to research and construct Google Documents, Google Slides, and Google Sites. They are what we would call "techies". They surprise me with what they can do with new forms of technology.

My Students

My students come to school eager to learn. For most of them, my classroom is their happy place! The students in my classroom enjoy hands on projects that incorporate the material we are working on. They have enjoyed researching topics we are learning about. My students have google account and have been taught how to make Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sites. Unfortunately, not every student has access to a Google Chromebook. They come from all different backgrounds. They are always ready to learn something knew and fun! At Mamou Elementary we strive for student success and what better way to do that than with engaged, excited students!

My Project

Google Chromebooks allow students to not only research, but produce documents, slides, and websites with the knowledge they gain. They are able to take the information they learned through research and go beyond classroom standards. These 9 and 10 year olds were born into a world of technology. With access to Google Chromebooks, they are preparing themselves for a future success with technology. Being able to research is like having the world at your finger tips! There is never an end to learning when they are able to research and go beyond a classroom lesson. Help us to enhance our learning even further!
