My Students

My students are all very eager to start the school year. We are in a low poverty school that needs all the help we can get. My students come from different background. Some of these students come from families that are not able to afford certain things for the kids. This is why I try to have many items available for the students to use in my classroom. My classroom is their safe place to be. I want my students to come to school eager to learn/play and take all that knowledge/athletics with them.

My Project

Having an Apple TV will allow the students to share their work to the classroom. They currently have access to iPads and what a better way to continue to use technology than to show off their work. This will help students explain how they got their answer and show different methods to the other students.

Students will learn from other students.

This will help students be more engaged and want to participate more. This will allow students to learn different methods and choose which one they like the most. There will be a student to student discourse. Having conversations together and being more engaged.
