My Project

If my project is fully funded, a classroom laptop can significantly benefit students with speech-language disabilities by providing access to built-in accessibility features that support communication, language development, literacy, and participation in classroom activities.

Features such as speech-to-text support, text-to-speech/read-aloud tools, improved expressive communication, enhanced receptive language comprehension, word prediction, grammar and writing support, AAC compatibility, visual learning supports, multimedia instructional access, closed captioning, auditory processing support, increased classroom participation, improved literacy development, organizational and executive functioning tools, greater student independence, improved access to grade-level curriculum, reduced communication barriers, increased engagement, support for social communication skills, individualized accommodations, collaborative learning opportunities, and improved note-taking and written expression can help ensure accessibility across learning environments.
