Tech Savvy Third Graders

My students need an HP laptop to complement our single desktop classroom computer.

We are encouraging a class of tech savvy third graders! I teach in a high-need school. Many of my students struggle academically.

We do many technology projects including movie-making, podcasting, blogging, and we use many resources available online. However, we share the school lab with 15+ classes. We only have one working classroom computer.

We'd like to be able to do more in the classroom by adding this computer. I would love for my students to have experience using a desktop computer and laptop to prepare them for their futures. The laptop would be used daily as a learning center. The students would also use it to post photos and news on our classroom blog each day. Our other tech projects could be finished up in the classroom when school lab time is full.

You can help! Many of my students do not have computers at home, so they only experience technology at school. You can make it possible for us to grow tech savvy third graders. These third graders will grow into tech savvy adults who will be better prepared to succeed in the future (all thanks to your help!)
