My Students

Imagine exploring the world and discovering that possibilities are endless, without ever leaving the classroom. Technology makes it possible for students to dream big and to realize that their community stretches far beyond our school and city limits. Help bring the world to our students.

Our students are highly motivated by technology.

For so many, it makes learning and "travel" a possibility that they otherwise wouldn't know. For some, the farthest trip they take is the 40 minute bus ride to school every morning and afternoon. I teach approximately 50 fifth graders everyday.

My Project

Having the Apple TV and accessories for our classroom will allow me to make learning more interactive. I am always looking for ways to integrate technology, because I know how motivated my students are when learning with technology. It will allow me to provide visual access to iBooks and digital books for all of my students. Additionally, I can access reading, science and math apps that will support our common core curriculum and add just the right amount of "excitement" to my lessons. I can utilize my Apple TV to create engaging lessons that will captivate my students' attention.

We all read about the budget cuts and struggles facing our public schools.

Thanks to donations and support from people like you, our students do not have to feel the education cuts. We know that our community cares about education and cares about our students. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for investing in our kids!
