Help me give my students the gift of engaging presentations to learn the standard curriculum in an innovative way.

Our students are responsive to clean video presentations infused with humor, color, and representations of themselves. Our inquisitive students learn alongside reluctant learners. I believe that the presentation of the standard curriculum is the game changer for our reluctant learners. Ninety nine percent of my students hover at the poverty line. Just as many students are considered minorities. Regardless of their social location, when they enter their library in our beautiful elementary school, I want them to know that the sky is the limit for what they can achieve!
In an effort to make my lessons more captivating, I needed to invest in certain Apple products to bring our video production up to speed. As a winner of this $2,500 DonorsChoose.org grant for serving in one of North Carolina's neediest communities, I thought that we would all benefit from coordinating our efforts on the Apple platform. (We currently have eight iPads for student use.) The computer and camera requested will help us to capture our students' learning experiences. We are in the process of applying for grants, and our sponsors would appreciate clean presentations of our students. Our students will also benefit from having more personalized video presentations. Our Special Area Team is always looking for opportunities to engage in cross-curricular learning experiences. We are excited about learning and reading in our library! I think that the inclusion of a powerful camera with a tripod to document authentic learning experiences will be an added bonus. The Fire tablet will be used to download reading material from the public library and other academic resources. Thank you for your support!
