Help me give my students opportunities to use technology. Many of my students do not have wi-fi at home.

My Students

I have a very wide range of learners in my classroom. I teach Integrated Algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 throughout the day. Not only do I teach different math classes but I also have different types of learners as well. My classroom is set up in groups of three every day.

My students work collaboratively through problems and thrive off each others' learning.

My students love working with technology any chance they get and are always exploring new types of technology on the laptops.

My Project

We are requesting two tablets. Laptops and desktops are essential in today's learning and we have a shortage in our school. Even if we are able to have two tablets to keep in the classroom, then we will be able to provide our students access to technology and real life experiences even though they do not have internet access at home.

My students utilize Khan Academy, School 21, Prodigy, Aleks, and BigIdeas within the classroom.

These programs help our students who are behind grade level or who are ahead and ready to start the next math subject. They come to class excited to use the laptops.
