In the past, I have tried to get laptops or computers in the classroom and another class was either using them or there were not enough for my classroom. With these laptops, my students will have more access to technology to help prepare them for the 21st century. Many of my students do not have internet access at home. When they come to school, that is their only chance to learn skills to prepare them for a successful future. I want to empower my students so they are comfortable using technology and inspired to learn beyond the classroom. With the laptops in the classroom, I will be able to incorporate more real world problem solving situations that my students can work through collaboratively.

About my class
