Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project includes a laptop that will be used directly with and indirectly for students.

Our world is becoming more technologically driven, even in the classroom.

I use the school's desktop. However, we have had several ethernet and Wifi issues that have heavily impacted us. I cannot use my personal computer because it is a desktop I have at home. With this laptop, I will be able to use it to continue lesson planning. If we ever have internet issues, I can use my personal hotspot to access. I will also be able to use it when I go to my professional development.

My students would benefit from the donation of this MacBook because the MacBook would support student learning as well as my individual growth and professional development.

My classroom environment will be greatly improved with the addition of a MacBook because it will allow me to continue to integrate technology into our Spanish curriculum, as well as to further my learning to continue to provide effective lessons to all my current and future students.

Through the use of this MacBook, I would be able to participate in educational webinars to further my knowledge on how to incorporate technology and its uses to my Spanish lessons. I will continue to grow professionally and this will help me better create engaging, educational, and enriching lessons for my students. This MacBook would also be used as a tool to communicate with families throughout the school year. The MacBook will be used throughout various school years.
