My Students
I teach students math and technology in grades 3-5 that are in a special education class setting. They come from many different cultural backgrounds and enjoy the many opportunities to learn math and technology in their way.
My students love working with computers where they can access many applications or programs that help enhance their learning experience in the classroom.
I love that they look forward to seeing me come in to the classroom to instruct them, whether it be math or technology.
My Project
The Acer Chromebook will be instrumental during technology class. I have 36 students that I teach technology to. I am teaching them how to access math programs and reading programs online, including Google apps.
Providing Acer Chromebooks will greatly help all of my students so that they'll be able to see and navigate clearly through the internet as they learn to work programs such as Google Apps for Education, including math and science programs to help them reach their highest potential academically in school.
Larger screens make it easier for my 12:1:1 students to follow along, since they can see the screen larger. Therefore, your donations will make a huge impact for my students.
