Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My classroom is full of eager learners. I have twenty students in my class. My students are from all different home lives. In the past couple of years, multiple children in my classroom have had different home languages. We are a school of choice. Students who come to our school want to learn and grow. Our school is an International Balanced school. We learn about different essential elements during the year and have multiple units that we learn about each year to take a closer look at learning.

Our students are always engaged in writing, math, and reading activities.

My Project

Our class is in need of more technology. In the age of technology, students are more knowledgeable in the area of technology than most adults. With that being said, we need to keep up with the current times. These computers will be integrated into our day to day center rotations for math and reading.

Having more laptops provide our children with one to one technology.

The students will be able to explore more challenging objectives designed specifically for their learning needs. In addition, it will create a more fun way of learning more difficult skills and concepts. Adding to the few computers our class has, my students will be able to have more access to technology.
