Help me give my students a chance to be outside and be active! We have great space to have team sports that my students will be exposed to.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at our elementary school are from a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch. My three and four-year-old are starting school for the first time. My classroom is a mix of regular and special education students who collaborate and learn together! All of the children come from low-income households who are unable to contribute much, but their eagerness to attend school belies this. They have such strong personalities and are always eager to learn new things!
Children who attend a high-quality preschool have greater pre-reading skills, larger vocabularies, and stronger fundamental math skills when they reach kindergarten than those who do not.
They're just starting to discover how to express themselves in a constructive way and explore the world around them via hands-on activities and role-playing.
My student’s minds will be occupied for days with these fun and engaging team sports activities! My students will be able to investigate through play and improve fine motor abilities, math reasoning, and teamwork.
According to research, a child's first five years of life are when they begin to make quick connections. If these connections are not made at an early age, the neuronal pathways will be lost.
My Project
They are active, energetic students who love to learn and love to be outside. We have been back at school in person this school year, and students could not be happier! With this team sports equipment, we will be able to go outside year-round and be active!
We have different family structures, home languages, and ethnicities represented in our classroom.
Students also come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, but that doesn't stop their love and passion for being active.
We are very fortunate to have a great big field space but I'm noticing there is a need for more of a sense of community! I'm hoping to create a team sports course for my students and a space they can use with their families and friends!
Help me create more of a community in my community!
