I have the pleasure of teaching 35 energetic, thoughtful, and funny fourth graders every day! My students love technology and enjoy using it to learn. My students range in age from 8-10. They are hard workers and constantly inquiring and asking questions. Every day, my students come to school prepared to learn and challenge themselves. They enjoy working in groups and learning independently. This year, my students are ready to utilize technology to build their skills and research interesting topics!
My Project
Teaching with Technology in 2019 is a project that is centered on student learning through the use of Chromebooks! Each day the students in my classroom will engage with technology in a 1:1 setting. This means that using this technology, students will have access to activities, games, learning programs, and teacher lessons. Every student will have access to a Chromebook to use during class to complete assignments, read, research as needed, complete classwork, and to create a digital portfolio to showcase their work. Using technology in this manner provides for each student to be presented with the lessons that they need in order to challenge them to be their best! Your donation to this project will help me place a Chromebook in every child's hand in my classroom! Just imagine what the future could hold if every student was able to learn at their own pace and complete activities that will help them succeed!
