Teaching Today's Third Graders to Be Successful

Help me give my students an HP laptop so that I can adequately teach my students in a virtual setting. Currently, my technology does not have a touch screen and does not consistently have sound.

My Students

My students LOVE to learn. They are engaged and trying their best despite the online learning that they have to do. I have about 15 students identified with special needs who come to class and give their very best effort daily.

My students are kind and thoughtful and make teaching, despite our current situation, an absolute delight and joy.

My Project

With the use of a laptop with working sound and a touch screen, students in my room will learn in our online setting and in our hybrid setting much more successfully.

As my sound currently glitches, my students at home will be able to hear me teach more clearly, hear their peers share ideas, and watch and listen to educational videos including online field trips.

With the touch screen, my instruction and modeling of work will happen simultaneously now (currently my students need to wait for me to switch back and forth between cameras).

My students in the classroom will benefit as well. I will be able to give them more immediate and valuable feedback on assignments.
