Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Creating activities that will enhance my students learning while keeping their attention is hard. The VersaTiles will give them hands-on activities during centers that they can self check for better understanding.
My classroom is filled with 5th and 6th grade students.
I teach a self-contained split classroom where the students are always moving and wanting to learn. They do not have the easiest home life. I have students that dream of being lawyers, doctors,and much more. It is up to me to create an environment where learning is always educational and fun.
My Project
My students will use the VersaTiles during center activities. The VersaTiles are created for students to self check using the pattern they create. The best part of the tiles are the many educational books that go along with series. My students are going to love creating the pictures are they learn.
The VersaTiles will make a difference in my center activities.
At the time I do not have any learning games in my classroom. Centers are hard to create with no fun learning tools. This will be a fun effective way to learn.
