Teaching Through Technology

My students need iPads to be able to work independently on projects via technology. They will use them to create digital presentations as well as for improving language arts skills.

My Students

My students need updated technology, such as more iPads to be more interactive. Every one of my students are here to learn and I do everything I can to make that happen for them. My fourth grade class of general education students work hard each week to complete their work because they love to work on special projects and assignments. My students come from a low income area and need every extra opportunity to keep up with surrounding schools.

My students are very active and need a way to have lessons presented in a more engaging and interactive way.

There are a wide range of students in my class some of whom were displaced by Hurricane Maria and speak foreign languages, gifted students, and students who need special assistance to learn. Additional iPads would give my students the opportunity to actively participate in their lessons and advance their learning.

My Project

Many of our students were displaced when Hurricane Maria devastated the islands in the Caribbean. They need tools to interact with their peers and present their knowledge to each other. Our school is located in a low income area where many families have no technology opportunities at home.

All students should have equal access to technology and it’s many educational experiences.

Having enough iPads for at least small groups of them will enable me to use technology to enhance my instruction and enrich their learning experiences. Technology provides valuable learning tools to make these experiences possible for all of my students.
