My Students

My room is full of six year olds that are ready to learn as much as they can. They love to explore the world around them. My class is comprised of a variety of students with different needs and abilities. My students show up to class every day ready to learn from myself and their peers, and I am given the privilege to learn from them. We are a team, learning and exploring first grade lessons.

I would love to reinforce our character development lessons with some new books for whole group lessons and guided reading lessons.

They are full of energy and excitement each day of school. Their drive and motivation to learn keeps me energetic and ready to help them grow educationally. They are such a great group of kids and I am proud to be their teacher!

My Project

What makes a child grow up to be a good person? I can't control what happens at home, but in my classroom I can teach them what it looks like and how they can do it. Character education is so important to teach kids and model it for them.

With the addition of these books, I can help my students understand and develop life skills to help them be the best version of themselves and to hopefully impact the world in a positive way.

My students are my future and I want them to learn kindness, honesty, perseverance, determination, respect, and responsibility through these wonderful books during my character education lessons.
