My students need tablets and headphones to utilize and access technology in order to provide them with access to online learning programs, conduct online research, and create presentations.
My classroom is filled with energetic second graders who burst through my classroom door everyday eager to learn.
My classroom is filled with seven and eight year olds that are eager to soak up information about the world around them.
They are motivated and self driven. They love to learn using technology.
In addition to technology, my students love hands-on activities and bubble over with enthusiasm when our classroom receives new materials.
They love to read and strive to grow their "reading muscles" everyday!!
My Project
These tablets will help put technology into the hands of more of my students. I am constantly seeking ways to integrate technology into my classroom lessons in order to engage students and inspire them to learn. With this tablet, I can provide more students with the opportunity to participate in online reading and math programs that provide individualized lessons for my students and provide me with detailed reports so I can focus on each child's weaknesses in order to help them reach their full potential. With tablets, I can allow more students with opportunities to conduct online research and create and compose digital presentations. Students can use the headphones to access technology and reading and programs during small group center time. The cases will be used to protect the tablets from damage if it is dropped.
These tablets will improve my classroom by allowing me to put technology into more of my students' hands at one time.
Through the use of technology, my students' passion for learning will continue grow as I am able to provide them with lessons that engage them and spark their creativity and interest. I will be able to provide more students with individualized instruction. I will also be able to teach my students how to use technology, and prepare them for our technology driven world.
