Teaching Kindergarten to Love Learning

Help me give my students books, math and literacy games and manipulatives for hands-on learning and bins to store them in! Group time visuals for STEM lessons.

My Students

My students are getting a brand new first year teacher. I am so excited to see the possibilities that will come this year and many years into the future. The excitement they show when they have realized the new things they have learned to do independently through practice and play. The curiosity in their eyes while I read a new story to them or show them new STEM problems to solve together. I want them to LOVE to LEARN! I dream of a classroom with the tools to motivate curiosity and practice.

My Project

With these materials kindergarteners will experience hands-on learning their brains require and learn to love learning and stay curious! The books will grab their attention and want to continue to expand on what they have just experienced. Games will encourage good socializing while gaining basic literacy, reading, math, and science skills. The manipulatives will enhance play which is essential for whole child learning. The whole group and small group manipulatives will allow me as the teacher to start and expand on lessons for all subjects leading students toward independent success and excitement for continuing their love of learning throughout their entire life.
