This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
One hundred percent of our students receive free lunches, but our students don't let that hinder their learning. The students are eager to learn and technology must be used to engage them and to prepare them for the future.
Our students take pride in our school, and are working towards making a difference in the world.
The week before school started, a group of students met to plant flowers and clean up the front of the school for the first day.
My Project
Students will be using chrome books within my Social Studies classroom to research, analyze and write about historical events. The chrome books will allow students to research historical events, analyze primary documents, and will be able to prepare presentations and writings that show that they are able to make connections between history and the events of today.
The use of technology in the classroom will increase student engagement that will allow for greater achievement by our students.
Students will be able to have historical primary documents in front of them by using chrome books. Students will also be able to develop their skills for the 21st century.
